Packaging design Evaluation
My packaging design meets the need for the target audience by making the packaging safe and secure it does not break. Also using colorful colours which catches the persons eye.  I also thought about of how easy it would be to open the packaging. The packaging opens from the top of the drink which doesn’t allow it to drop if opened from the side. I have chosen a cuboid which stands upwards which allows the drink to be put inside the packaging and allows it to have no room to move around and fizz. The things that went really well with my packaging is that the way the logos were placed which allowed my logo to be seen in all ways and directions. This would allow someone to see it no matter what side they pick up the can from. The things I would have made better is the design of the package I could have added a unique type of design onto it which no one has ever seen before.
The software I used to create my Packaging was Photoshop. I used a tool called grid line which allowed me to get the correct sizes and gaps between the lines. I used different text sizes and colour combination. I did this so my packaging is the first thing to catch the person’s eye. This would be the first point of contact for the person buying the product.
I first thing I thought of was how normal energy drink packaging is done and that is made out of plastic which can be broken easily and hard to hold. So I thought of making my packaging so it can be easily movable and easily openable. The shape of it is a rectangle because of the size of the drinks.

TV Advert
My advert is about a young teenager running but after a while he loses the energy and goes into his bag and drinks an energy drink which gives him energy to start sprinting. The target audience of this drink is teenagers and adults. We know this by the person who is acting in the video as he looking like a young teenager. What inspired me to do it this way is the drink is an energy drink which should give you a boost. So I decided the best way to show that is by someone running. So I decided to make them run and then they slowed down nearer to the end because they ran out of energy but then after having Dragoon they had got the energy needed to carry on running. I cratered my advert using a software called Premier Pro. My video shots were shot from side to side as the person was running. My ideas changed due to the lighting when recording the video as some areas had no light and some places had a lot of light. The problems that I had was lighting as it would affect the video quality and it would be really bright.

Logo
The logos I have seen and compared to mine I think that my logo looks similar in the skills needed to make it and would catch someone’s eye when they are walking past it and make them want to try it. My product name is Dragoon and my logo for my product is a dragon which gives it that sense of the product name and logo are exactly the same. The software I used was Photoshop which allowed me to size my product correctly and allow me to paint the dragon in colours I wanted to. I used different colours for different parts of the dragon but thought that only some colours.

Website design
My website meets the need of my target audience as it has simple colours which are involved. I decided not to go over the top with all the colours as I knew people would see the website and think this website has too much colours which would be a negative for most people. So, I decided on plain colours and more information so that it informs people about the drink rather than want them to see the logo and leave the website. I used on type on the website as if you use more than one it would make the website feel posh which in most cases it shouldn’t feel posh. The website functions in one way through the navigation bar this will take you too different places on the website (or the places you want to read about) which would make it easier for any person to navigate through the website. What I though worked well with my website was the way I did the layout of it made it balanced on both sides so the person viewing the website doesn’t only pay attention to one but pays attention to both sides. The things I could have done better is adding more information to all the pages on my website and detailing some paragraphs more. The program I used was Adobe muse CC this allowed me to make a website without coding it. The skills I would need to further develop is how to use Muse correctly as I had done a lot of mistakes which cause me to have a set back when trying to complete it. We experimented with Muse when we were creating a practice website on whatever we wanted to make it on. So, I decided to go with what I was doing for my advert which was an energy drink, so I kept it the same and did it based on an energy drink.

Animation
I allowed my audience to have an option of yes or no this would take them to a different page as they are both different answers. If I could extend my animation I would like to challenge myself and try get the logo to turn around and land onto a drink can which would give it more of a better look and shows that the people who created this had used a challenge to do it. The way we experimented with animation is that we had used a random logo and used a script we were given to create an animation and to practice using Adobe Animation. Than after we did all the steps we could add our own things into the program to make the object on the screen move however you wanted it too.

Radio Advert
How i created my radio advert was that i had written a script out first but the script i had done first had a few errors in it and was over the 30 seconds time. So i had decided to make it short , sweet and informative. The only way that was able to be done was to make it shorter by removing the information which wasn't useful and which wasn't informative. I had decided to add a website at the end of the radio advert so people know where to go to find the drinks and the different flavours. I also said in the radio advert that more flavours will be coming out soon. I used words which are not hard to understand over the radio but words people will be able to understand. My target audience for my radio advert is young teenagers and young adults to listen to the radio while driving cars or while being in a car.
